This is the Privacy Policy of SUN bioscience SA. The Privacy Policy applies to the whole website located at https://sunbioscience.com (hereinafter, the “Website”). 

The Website is property of SUN bioscience SA, registered in the Commercial Register under number CHE-397.201.012, and with the legal address EPFL Innovation Park, Building D, 1015 Lausanne, Switzerland. SUN bioscience is the controller when processing personal data, pursuant to and in accordance with the Federal Act of 19 June 1992 on Data Protection (FADP) and, if applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 

Simply accessing the Website gives the person who accesses it the status of Website user (hereinafter, the “User”).

This Privacy Policy is intended to explain to Users which of their personal data SUN bioscience collects, how those data are processed, for what purposes and what options Users have in this regard. 

By visiting the Website, Users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted the Privacy Policy. 

 

Processing personal data when visiting SUN bioscience website

When Users interact with SUN bioscience through the Website or Social Media platforms, SUN bioscience receives personal data related to them. SUN bioscience is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of their data. SUN bioscience only uses job applicants’ data for recruitment and selection purposes. Unless required by law, this data will not be provided to third parties without the applicant’s prior consent. Applicants’ data, provided to us though the application process, will be kept by SUN bioscience no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which data are processed but no longer than 4 months, unless the applicant consents for further storage with a view to possible future vacancies at SUN bioscience.

A link to SUN bioscience’ professional social media sites is provided on the Website. Users can find their privacy policies here: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts is provided in the Website. Following SUN bioscience Linkedin page or liking a post qualifies as “consent” and SUN bioscience can process related personal data. SUN bioscience acts as a joint controller with LinkedIn for the processing of personal data provided through LinkedIn Page Analytics. The agreement can be found in the following link. Users can at any time withdraw their consent. 

 

Third-party services

SUN bioscience may use the following third-party service provider, Mailchimp (the Rocket Science Group, LLC), to manage email marketing subscriber lists and send emails to its subscribers. Users can unsubscribe from further receiving this service at any time through the link that appears in the e-mail footer or by sending an email to info [at] sun.handyland.in.

SUN bioscience may use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to collect standard Internet log information and Users’ behavior information. By using the Website, Users consent to the processing of their data by Google analytics in the manner and purposes set out above, in aggregate form. Users can refuse the use of cookies by selecting the corresponding settings in their browser, but this my affect their ability to use the Website.

Any personal information supplied to SUN bioscience through the visit of the Website will be processed in accordance with technical and organizational measures ensuring that Users’ personal data are kept secure and confidential. By using the Website, Users consent to such a processing.

SUN bioscience will not share Users’ personal information with any third party, unless legally required or if necessary, to fulfill the purpose for which Users have provided the information. For the sake of clarity, SUN bioscience will not sell, trade, or rent any personal information to third parties.
